The Seville-born player signs for the Yellows from Atlético de Madrid B

Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Vicky Benítez to sign for the club, in a move that will strengthen Villarreal Women’s defence in Primera RFEF.

A solid presence in defense

Victoria ‘Vicky’ Benítez Rodríguez (09/09/2000, Seville) has wide-ranging experience in football in spite of her youth. The Seville-born defender rose through the ranks at Sevilla FC before making her first-team debut in Liga F at just 18 years old. The following season, in 2019/20, she featured for Real Oviedo and PM Friol in Segunda RFEF.

One year later, Vicky moved to join Real Betis. For two seasons she played for both the B team and the first team, becoming established in the first team squad in the 2022/23 season. She has made a total of 47 appearances in Primera División for Sevilla FC and Real Betis.

In January, Vicky Benítez completed a move to Atlético de Madrid B, where she played under current Villarreal Women coach Virginia García.
