Three Yellows called up for their National teams

Bakambu, Bailly and Areola will represent their respective countries

Three players from the Villarreal First Team squad have been called up for their respective National teams. French goalkeeper, Alphonse Areola has been chosen for the ‘reserve’ list of players for France to play in two pre-UEFA EURO 2016 friendly matches. France will play vs Cameroon in Nantes (30th May) and vs Scotland in Metz (4th June).

Eric Bailly has been called up for the Ivory Coast for a friendly vs Hungary that will be played in Budapest on 20th May. And Cédric Bakambu has been called up for the Democratic Republic of the Congo for three matches. Two of which will be friendlies vs Romania in Turin (25th May) and vs Egypt in Alexandria (30th May), while the third will be an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match vs Madagascar in Antananarivo (5th June).
