Villarreal B Manager, Paco López, is satisfied with the Reserve team’s work
The Villarreal B team Manager, Paco López, explained today that, after the great image they have shown so far, the Reserve team is only missing the win, for which the clash against Sabadell (Sunday, 12pm CET, Mini Estadi, live on Villarreal CF Live and ‘TVCS Mediterráneo’) is the perfect opportunity to do so. “I hope to keep playing like we are because normally playing like this you win. We have to improve on the errors we’ve been making, but the team is relaxed because we deserve much more than what we have got so far and now it’s time to win”.
The Manager also analysed this weekend’s rival, Sabadelly come to the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva) with two wins in three games. “I expect to come up against an intense team, that works hard. When we play at home, our way of playing is very similar, they won’t give us any space, they’ll try to take advantage of the counter attack. We don’t want them to dominate nor dispossess us, we don’t expect that”.
With regard to the equality of the competition, the Reserves Manager said that the results show that the teams are very even and he thinks that the standings will change, “we have to have patience and even more so with young players. We have to look at the game, keep working, normally with players of our quality we are fighting for the top places, although the league is very even this year”.
The B team will not be able to count on Leo Suárez, Antón Shvets and Carlos López, but Ramiro Guerra and Edgar Ié are now available.
