The UEFA Youth League 21/22 is made up of 64 teams, in two paths. One path is made up of 32 sides, whose first teams are taking part in the UEFA Champions League, and the other path is made up of national champions from the 32 highest ranked federations. The group winners from the first path will go directly to the Round of 16, while the second-placed teams will go to a play-off round. In the national champions path, the teams will have to get through two knock-out rounds, and then a play-off against the second-placed team to reach the Round of 16. In the Round of 16, the eight group winners will face the eight play-off winners. The semi-finals and final will be played in Nyon (Switzerland).
