More than 2,500 players will enjoy this massive tournament from 27th to 30th June
The Yellow Cup Summer 2024 will be held from 27th to 30th June in Vila-real. This exciting tournament, organised every year by Villarreal CF, will bring together more than 2,500 young players and a total of 18,000 attendees who will cheer and enjoy the competition, which this season will experience one of the most crowded editions.
In this year’s edition, 156 teams from 54 clubs from all over the world will take part, coming from countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, China, Mexico, the Philippines, Kuwait and Romania. On a national level, the participation of clubs from all over the country stands out: Community of Madrid, Catalonia, Balearic Islands, Galicia, Canary Islands, Castile-La Mancha, Castile and Leon, Andalusia, Aragon, Region of Murcia and the Valencian Community.
The competition will be held in up to five venues, four of them in Vila-real: the Estadio de la Cerámica, the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground, the Pamesa Cerámica Training Ground, the CEM Pau Francisco Torres and the FACSA Training Ground.
The sporting event attracts more than 2,500 overnight stays in the province of Castellón during the tournament.
The big opening party of the tournament will take place on Thursday 27th June inside the Estadio de la Cerámica, marked by a flag-waving parade with the participation of all the teams.
