The team of the #CanteraGrogueta defeats Sevilla by 2-3 in the final
Joy for the #CanteraGrogueta! The U12 team of Villarreal CF has been proclaimed champions of the COTIF Promesas ISTOBAL, the prestigious international football tournament held in L’Alcúdia, by defeating Sevilla CF 2-3. The goal scorers for the yellow team were Jorge Casañe, Alejandro Pérez y Miguel García.
At first the final of the COTIF was planned to be played yesterday, but the game was postponed due to bad weather conditions so it was held this morning. Despite the adversities and nerves of facing Sevilla again, after being defeated in the group stage by an overwhelming score of 1-6, the U12 team has proven its worth by winning the tournament.
The Mini Yellow Submarine successfully finished the tournament with a total of 5 wins, 1 draw, and only 2 losses.
