More than half a century of Villarreal CF runners took part this Sunday in Valencia
The city of Valencia held this Sunday the 28th Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP Half Marathon. It was an event which saw more than half a century of Yellows fans take part, all of them dressed with Villarreal CF Runners outfits.
The Valencian race, judged to be Spain’s best by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, had 13,984 runners take part, and beat its record for runners finishing, with 13,827. What’s more, Kenyan athlete Abraham Kiptum finished the race in a time of 58:18, getting the world record for half marathons.
On the 2nd December, the Yellows runners will put their Villarreal CF Runners kit back on to take part in the 10k or Maraton Trinidad Alfonso in Valencia.
