Villarreal end the year having scored 114 goals across all competitions
A year full of joy… and goals. Villarreal have ended 2021 as the top-scoring Spanish team taking into account all official competitions. The Submarine scored 114 goals, ahead of FC Barcelona (107) and Real Madrid (104).
2021 will be a historic year for Villarreal, after lifting their first trophy. Unai Emery’s side tasted glory in Gdansk after beating Manchester United on penalties in the UEFA Europa League final.
