Fran Escribá’s side have trained for the last time ahead of Thursday’s tie against Steaua
Villarreal have trained and are ready for tomorrow’s European clash against Steaua București (Thursday, 7pm CET), a crucial match to take the Yellows closer to reaching their goal of finishing in first place in Group L in the UEFA Europa League. The team trained at the Arena Nationala stadium this afternoon, a stadium that houses the Romania national team’s matches with a capacity of more than 55,000.
The Yellows beat FC Zürich (2-1, Pato and Jonathan) in their opening match and currently sit in second place in the group, joint leaders with Osmanlispor, who beat Steaua (2-0, Diabaté and Umar) to take first place by goal difference.
And so the Submarine have already graced the pitch that will serve as tomorrow night’s stage. The match will be televised only for those viewers that pay, on beIN MAX 1/HD, beIN MAX 2, beIN SPORTS Connect/HD and Movistar+ (online).
