The ‘Entrelíneas’ Restaurant in El Madrigal hosted a very special lunch today
A magnificent season deserved the perfect finishing touch. At midday today, a very special lunch was celebrated at the ‘Entrelíneas’ Restaurant in El Madrigal stadium; attended by the First Team squad, Management team, Board of Directors members, the club’s oldest season-ticket holders and Villarreal CF’s main sponsors. The menu was produced by the prestigious ‘Elkano’ Restaurant, owned by ex Yellow player Aitor Arregi.
At the lunch, Mario, Musacchio and Bruno, who have all played 200 official matches for the First Team, were awarded with official gold badges. Although Bruno will pick his up at a later date as he is currently on international duty with Spain. Furthermore, the club’s nine, oldest season-ticket holders and Villarreal CF sponsors were also presented with the gold pins.
Just before the celebratory lunch a friendly match took place in El Madrigal stadium, participated in by some members of the Villarreal CF Board of Directors, representatives of the sponsors and club employees.
El Restaurante Elkano, the star of the show once again
The end of season lunch was again handled by Aitor Arregi’s ‘Elkano’ Restaurant. With a reputation earned by its talent and hard work, Elkano, located in Getaria (Gipuzkoa), has a Michelin star from the year of 2014, recognition that it has maintained until 2016.
