The Villarreal B head coach underlines the importance of Primera RFEF Matchday 3 Footters against Atlético Baleares at the Estadio Balear (Sunday, 12pm CEST)
Villarreal B head coach Miguel Álvarez appeared in front of the media this midday to analyse the upcoming match for the Mini Submarine against Atlético Baleares at the Estadio Balear (12pm CEST, live on Footters in Spain). The Yellows go into the third matchday of the Primera RFEF Footters season with three points, after winning their opener against San Fernando and getting a victory in their second match, beating UE Cornellà 3-0 last Sunday at the Mini Estadi at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva).
The opposition
“Baleares are one of the teams made to win the league. They have a great squad, with a lot of quality and lots of potential in midfield and up front. Watching them play is great, but watching us is too. We’re a good team, whoever wants to beat us has to do something great. I trust them and I’m very happy with how they’re training, we have a squad to enjoy this year too.”
Keys to win the game
“It isn’t a final, but it is a very important match for the boys and a great one to take part in. They’ve changed their pitch, now it’s bigger and natural grass. I’m expecting a match where they aren’t going to let us take initiative and we’re going to have to dig in at times, although we can also cause them damage too.”
Injury update
“We have practically the whole squad available to us, although we’re still waiting for a few players. We’ve been looking after the physical aspect with the medical staff and at the moment, there aren’t any injuries. We are very happy about that.”
