The young Villarreal CF Ladies Reserve team players are examples of team spirit and giving back
Union and solidarity, these are the best words to describe the Villarreal CF Ladies Reserve team. The Manager, Javier Soriano, said that his players are “a group of players with lots in common”. The girls are currently in fourth place in the Liga Autonómica in the Valencian Community looking to climb the table with ambition.
For the Manager, the season has been a successful one so far: “The evaluation of the season is positive because we’re picking up points which shows we’re working well. At the end of the day we’re a reserve team so our main aim is to develop players for the first team”.
The Yellows boss also talked about the charity work his players have done: “We’re conducting a charity project with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). The girls’ charity spirit is amazing because they’re at an age where they could just be thinking about themselves and the fact that they think so much about helping others is really something that is worth accomplishing and deserves to be followed through with”, Soriano concluded.
