Unai Emery underlined his satisfaction at his team’s performance against Dynamo Kyiv
Villarreal head coach Unai Emery appeared in front of the media remotely to analyse the win over Dynamo Kyiv (2-0), which sealed the Yellows’ place in the UEFA Europa League quarter-final.
He underlined the impressive performance of the team today, and underlined that the team needs to continue playing like that in LaLiga: “This result shows what each of us can bring to the table when we’re our best and helps us to be confident and return to feeling good.”
The Basque manager underlined the good reputation the Yellows have in the Europa League, something which is a big responsibility: “It’s a competition that excites us. We are recognised as a prestigious team in this competition, something which gives credit to the club.”
After confirming their place in the next round, the Yellow Submarine are waiting to find out who they will face in the draw on Friday: “We will have to adapt to whoever we face in the draw. We don’t have any preferences. The opponent will be difficult, whoever it is.”
