El Villarreal CF hosted the ‘Football, infrastructure and urban development’ talk this Tuesday
In collaboration with the Social Football Summit (SFS), Villarreal CF hosted the latest edition of the SFS Snack this Tuesday at the Estadio de la Cerámica, a short-format international conference dedicated to the football industry, whose purpose is to connect, through different presentations, with football professionals from all over the world and to promote innovation in the sports business through meetings in key cities in the world of sport.
In this way, the yellow stadium brought together top-level speakers, including several representatives of Villarreal CF. The event, entitled ‘Football, infrastructure and urban development’, addressed the transformative power of stadiums as catalysts for economic growth, urban renewal and social impact, reviewing the case of the Estadio de la Cerámica, which, with its recent refurbishment, has become a landmark of public life in the town of Vila-real and its surroundings.
Among the topics discussed at the conference were the strategic importance of the stadium in the growth of the sports club, how to unlock commercial growth and how to maximise the impact of sponsorship.
Moderated by Giulia d’Angelo, marketing expert, the presentation was also attended by Matteo Quitadamo, business developer at SFS; Brandon Páramo, international trade manager at Villarreal CF; Merche Añón Roig, commercial director at Valencia Basket Club; Pedro Iriondo, general manager of Football Benchmark; Juan Antón, commercial director at Villarreal CF; Mirko Cucchiarelli, head of premium sales and business community at AS Roma; and Noemi Úbeda, marketing and communication manager at Ascale.
