The work of Jose Sanchis, author from Castellón, tells an exciting story which has the Yellows’ mascot as the main character
Villarreal CF once more is backing Endavant Cultura. The Yellows, and Grupo Sar Alejandría have collaborated with the publication of the children’s book ‘¿Dónde está Groguet?’, written by Jose Sanchiz Mezquita, an author from Castellón, and illustrated by María Carda Sanz, from Vila-real.
The book, edited by Teseo Ediciones, is about an exciting adventure in the streets of Vila-real and the surroundings of the Estadio de la Cerámica, which is based on trying to find Groguet, the club’s mascot. A number of fictional people appear in the book, such as Inspector Soler or Police Office Gallardo, but also real people, such as Manu Trigueros, Villarreal midfielder; Jessica Collado, former Villarreal Women captain; and local journalists Mónica Benavent and Javi Mata.
Through a great story, ‘¿Dónde está Groguet?´ underlines the values that define Villarreal CF, such as friendship, overcoming hardship, hard work, and above all, children’s love for the Yellow Submarine. The book also tells youngsters about the club’s history in a fun way.
The book is on sale for 15 Euros in official Villarreal CF stores.
