The young striker from Andorra strengthens Sara Monforte’s attack
Villarreal CF has reached an agreement to sign Tere Morató for Villarreal CF Women for the 2021/22 season. The Andorran attacker comes to the Yellows as a free agent after playing for Rayo Vallecano last season, the club with whom she made her debut in the First Division and which made her the first player from Andorra to achieve this feat.
Youth and an eye for goal for the First Division
Tere Morató Armengol (28/02/1998) is a footballer who will bring youth and goals to Sara Monforte’s side, who prepare to play their second season in the top flight of Spanish women’s football. The striker came through the ranks at the Andorran Football Federation (ENFAF) who compete in the Catalan leagues and later joined the FC Barcelona academy. At Barça she played four seasons for the reserves. In her last season at Barcelona B she was the third top goal scorer for the team, an achievement that saw her make the jump to the First Division. Morató has already made history in her country. Now, she can continue to do so at Villarreal CF.
