Villarreal manager Javi Calleja believes that winning in Seville would be an important morale boost
Villarreal manager Javi Calleja underlined this lunchtime that a win on Sunday’s game against Sevilla (6:30pm CET) would be an important morale boost for his players after the draw against Atlético Madrid. “Winning would be a step forward for our morale. We are facing one of the best sides in the competition, who have a lot of shots. It will be a tough game but winning would give us a lot of confidence,” he commented.
For the head coach, recent results don’t reflect the team’s good image: “We’re showing up and against Valencia and Atlético we did everything but win. Whenever we play against sides at the top of the table, the team competes well. We have two league matches and one Copa del Rey game left this year. We can win all three.”
