The exercise tested the effectiveness of the existing Emergency Plan
Villarreal CF organised this Thursday a partial emergency evacuation drill at the Estadio de la Cerámica, in order to check the effectiveness of the existing Emergency Plan and to know if the existing equipment and human resources at the stadium are adequate and necessary to combat an emergency.
All the necessary resources that form part of the Emergency Plan took part in the drill, along with more than a hundred volunteers, students from the UJI Nursing Degree, who will be located in the Fondo Sur, the stand where the evacuation will take place.
This evacuation exercise, coordinated by the Villarreal CF Operations and Security Department, aims to ensure the club’s responsibility towards the fans, as well as confirming good organisation, compliance with current regulations and guaranteeing safety at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
