The Submarine end the great season with meal for the team and directors at the El Ceramista restaurant

Villarreal ended an unforgettable season today, where the team made history by reaching the UEFA Champions League semi-finals for the second time, with a meal at the El Ceramista restaurant. Every member of the men’s first team squad and coaching staff were in attendance, as well as the directors and coaching staff.

Bruno Soriano, the player with most matches in Villarreal history, also attended the event at El Ceramista. Golden club badges were also given to Gerard Moreno, Moi Gómez and Sergio Asenjo for breaking the 200-game barrier, and the 100-match shirt was given to Vicente Iborra.

Villarreal have now signed off one of the most memorable seasons of their history, equalling their best-ever campaign in the UEFA Champions League by reaching the semi-finals, and once more qualifying for Europe (it is now 18 seasons); this time for the UEFA Europa Conference League.
