Schedule for Villarreal CF internationals

Eight Yellows’ players have been called up by their countries for the international break

Álex Baena and Yeremy Pino (Spain), Ilias Akhomach (Morocco), Logan Costa (Cape Verde), Nicolas Pepe and Eric Bailly (Côte d’Ivoire), Pape Gueye (Senegal), and Iker Álvarez (Andorra) are the eight Villarreal CF players who have been called up to represent their country’s colors during the international break.

Yeremy, who has been called up for the second time in arow, and Baena, who returns to the list, will play a leading role on Matchdays 4 and 5 of the group stage of the 2024/25 Nations League.

Ilias has been called up again to the Moroccan national team to take part in two qualifiers for the next edition of the African Cup of Nations.

Nicolas Pepe and Eric Bailly have been called up to the Ivory Coast national team, while Logan Costa and Pape Gueye will play for Cape Verde and Senegal, respectively. The four players will play in the third and fourth matchday of qualification for the Africa Cup.

Villarreal B goalkeeper Iker Álvarez will be called up by the Andorra national team, who play a Nations League match against Moldova and a friendly against San Marino.

Logan Costa (Cape Verde):

Nicolas Pepe and Eric Bailly (Côte d’Ivoire):
