The Villarreal Assistant Manager highlights the Yellows’ great work rate against Getafe
The Villarreal Assistant Manager, Rubén Uría, was very proud of his players after the win against Getafe (2-0): “In the first half we played quite deep, but in the second we were more creative and on top of them, so they couldn’t cause us any problems in our box. It was a bit of a tricky match, but we deserved to get the win”.
Taking into account that winning this match takes the team even closer to their objective, Uría also wanted to comment on how he sees what’s left of the league: “All of our rivals would like to be in our position, so we have to keep working hard to stay there. To be honest it was a game we had to win to increase the gap from fifth and sixth and we did that. We’re happy to get the win”.
The Yellows Assistant Manager wanted to praise the great work done by all the players throughout the season: “We’re really pleased. The players deserve everything they get. The road is shorter now but there is still work to do. This team deserves everything”.
To finish, Rubén Uría said how important the next UEFA Europa League match is against AC Sparta Prague on Thursday 14th April in the Letná stadium (9:05pm CET): “Now all we have to think about is getting through to the next round on Thursday”.
