The full-back from Avila and the Yellows have parted ways for the new 22/23 season
Rubén Peña has left Villarreal CF. The full-back from Avila leaves the Yellows as of 30 June. The player has played three seasons with Villarreal, since he arrived in the 19/20 season from SD Eibar. During his time as a player with Villarreal, Peña made 71 official appearances in which he scored three goals. He also won the UEFA Europa League in the 20/21 season and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League just a few months ago, making history along with his teammates.
Villarreal is grateful for his commitment to the club, as well as his dedication and hard work, and wishes him the best of luck and much success in his new professional career.
