The Yellows squad recover from the match vs FC Porto and travel to Lugo in the early morning
The Villarreal CF first team squad did a recovery session this morning in the spa at the Balneario de Guitiriz. The aim of the session was to recuperate from their match last night at the Do Dragao stadium against FC Porto (1-0) and the fatigue from the journey by coach to Lugo, in the early morning, where they are staying in the Hotel Balneario de Guitiriz Spa & Resort.
The Submarine will train this afternoon at the Ciudad Deportiva de Abegondo at 7pm.
Then tomorrow the squad will get back to work, with physical training, stretching and recovery at the Hotel Balneario de Guitiriz Spa & Resort in the morning and another training session at 7pm at the Ciudad Deportiva de Abegondo in the afternoon.
To finish, the Submarine will face RC Deportivo de la Coruña at the Riazor stadium in the Trofeo Teresa Herrera on Tuesday 9th August (8:30pm CET). The Yellows will then return to Castellón on a charter flight once the match has finished.
