The Villarreal B defender underlined his optimism ahead of the UB Conquense match
Villarreal B’s Catalan defender Xavi Quintillà appeared in front of the media to analyse the current situation regarding the Mini Submarine. “We are in a run of results that aren’t very good. The team is fully aware of that and working to turn that around. We are implying the 24 players in the squad to get results from the matches that lie ahead of us. With the work we do on a daily and weekly basis, we will get out of this run and return to winning ways,” he commented.
For Quintillà, the path to follow is clear: “We’re looking at the errors we’re making and we’re sorting out the little details that are causing us problems. The team is strong, hard-working and keen. In each match, we go onto the field to win, and the results are come. We’re a strong team.” Furthermore, the defender underlines that they go into each match fully committed: “Our weapon is that we go out to compete in every training session and every match like it was our last one. Like that, we are going to turn around the results that we’ve been lacking in recent weeks.”
He underlined his optimism ahead of the upcoming match this Sunday against UB Conquense (4:30pm CET): “We will play in Cuenca like we play every weekend. When we play at home, or away, we go onto the pitch to play our style with our ideas. Obviously, we’re going onto the pitch to win.”
