Preseason friendly against Nàstic

Villarreal will take on the Catalonian side on Saturday 22nd July (Nou Estadi, 8:30pm)

Villarreal CF’s preseason continues to take shape. Today the latest preseason friendly for the preparation of Fran Escribá’s side has been confirmed. The Submarine will play Nàstic de Tarragona on Saturday 22^nd July at the Nou Estadi (8:30pm). This the fifth preseason friendly to be confirmed for Villarreal CF: Nàstic de Tarragona (22^nd July), Levante UD (30^th July), Real Zaragoza (2^nd August) and the Carranza Trophy (12^th and 13^th August).

It should be stated that the Yellows will get back to work, after their holidays, on Monday 10^th July. That morning the Submarine will have their first training session at the Villarreal CF Training Ground. In the days prior, from Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th July, the footballers will undergo the routine start of season medical tests.

Fran Escribá’s side will combine training sessions at the Villarreal CF Training Ground with a stay at the El Saler (Valencia) facilities from 16^th to 21^st July.

Villarreal CF’s preseason plan is the following:

• From Thursday 6^th to Saturday 8^th July: medical tests at the Villarreal CF Training Ground.
• Monday 10^th July: first preseason training session at the Villarreal CF Training Ground.
• Saturday 15^th July: opponent and stadium to be confirmed.
• Sunday 16^th July to Friday 21^st July: preseason stay at El Saler.
• Saturday 22^nd July: Nàstic de Tarragona-Villarreal CF (Nou Estadi, 8:30pm CET).
• Wednesday 26^th July: opponent and stadium to be confirmed.
• Sunday 30^th July: Villarreal CF-Levante UD (El Collao de Alcoi, 7pm CET).
• Wednesday 2^nd August: Real Zaragoza-Villarreal CF (Municipal Pinilla de Teruel, 7pm CET).
• Sunday 6^th August: opponent and stadium to be confirmed.
• Saturday 12^th August: Carranza Trophy.
• Sunday 13^th August: Carranza Trophy.
