The Brazilian defender will sign for Arsenal FC when the agreement is completed
Villarreal CF and Arsenal FC have come to a preliminary agreement, that will be completed on Monday, for the transfer of Brazilian defender Gabriel Armando de Abreu. Once Gabriel passes the physical examination, he will join the Gunners in the Premier League.
In one and a half season in Villarreal, Gabriel has played 50 matches through al the competitions and has been key for Marcelino’s team, proving himself as an outstanding professional. Before signing for the Submarine, Gabriel played for EC Vitória, with which he promoted to Brazil’s Serie A.
Villarreal wants to thank Gabriel for his dedication and professionalism during his time in the club and wishes him best of luck in his career.
