Villarreal have completed their first training session under Unai Emery’s orders after the summer holidays
Back to work! Villarreal CF, this Wednesday, have completed their first training session after their break for the summer Unai Emery’s side are now preparing for the 2022/23 season, where the Yellows will once more take part in three competitions: LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Europa Conference League.
In the first week of training sessions, the Yellows will train on Wednesday (double session), Thursday, Friday (double session) and Saturday. Check out the schedule here.
The pre-season friendly matches lined up for Villarreal are:
- Thursday, 14th July
Sporting Clube de Portugal vs Villarreal CF at the Estádio Algarve (10pm CEST).
- Saturday, 16th July
PSV Eindhoven vs Villarreal CF at the Philips Stadion (7pm CEST).
- Friday, 22nd July
Borussia Dortmund vs Villarreal CF at the Cashpoint Arena (time to be confirmed).
- Sunday, 24th July
Stade de Reims vs Villarreal CF at the Stade Auguste Delaune (time to be confirmed).
- Saturday, 30th July
Southampton FC vs Villarreal CF at St Mary’s Stadium (4pm CEST).
- Sunday, 31st July
Fulham FC vs Villarreal CF at Craven Cottage (4pm CEST).
- Saturday, 6th August
Villarreal CF vs FC Internazionale Milano at Stadio Adriatico (20.30 horas).
