This Friday Villarreal CF will find out who their opponent will be for their UEFA Champions League Play-off match. After qualifying brilliantly by finishing fourth in LaLiga last season, the Submarine will now try to win their Play-off tie to go through to the Group Stage of Europe’s most prestigious competition.
The draw will take place this Friday in Nyon, Switzerland at 12:00pm CET and Marcos Senna, member of Institutional Relations at Villarreal CF, will attend on behalf of the club. Marcelino’s side could draw any of the following five rivals: AS Roma (Italy), FC Steaua Bucuresti (Romania), AS Monaco FC (France), BSC Young Boys (Switzerland) or FC Rostov (Russia). The first leg matches will be played on 16th/17th August and the second leg will be played on 23rd/24th August.
