A representative group from the club had a private audience at the Vatican this morning
A historic and unforgettable day. This morning Pope Francis received the Yellow expedition at the Vatican. Several players, members of the coaching staff, administrative board and directors had the privilege of meeting the Holy Father, in what was a close up, emotional encounter. During the visit, the representative group wanted to give something special to Pope Francis as a thank you for his audience, among the presents given were a gold Villarreal CF badge, a shirt signed by all the players and personalized with Pope Francis’ name, as well as a ceramic Submarine ornament.
