Playas de Castellón, a big name in European athletics
Club Atletismo Playas de Castellón are one of the most successful athletics clubs in Europe. Founded in 1981, under the name of Club Atletisme Castelló, changed their name to their current moniker in 2006.
Throughout their history, they have got a number of national and European titles, both at youth and senior level. Recognised by the Spanish Royal Athletics Federation as the best club in Spanish history in terms of points, the side from Castellón are one of the leading sports sides in our province.
Endavant Esports is Villarreal CF’s sports sponsorship project. The Yellows are committed to contributing to the growth of sport in Castellón, as part of the social commitment that the club has with regards to its local surroundings, trying to give something back to its local area, and repay the support it receives. The project consists of economic and sporting support, as the club, as well as giving economic support to those who make up the project, also offers its medical services, the use of its facilities and all the means at its reach to help develop athletes.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, and being conscious of the uncertainty that the world of sport is going through, this season Villarreal CF underlined its support for Endavant Esports, maintaining an inversion of more than 700,000 Euros in this sponsorship project that develops and contributes to elite sport in the province of Castellón.
