This afternoon, the much-anticipated fourth edition of this season’s competition took place in the Fan Zone
The ‘3v3 Groguet’ tournament this afternoon had its fourth edition of the season, with U10s (Benjamín) and U8s (Prebenjamín) sides from CF Platges de Moncofa, CE Vila d’Oonda and Escoleta CVF Sabadell all taking part. After an exciting set of games, the Gerard Group from CF Platges de Moncofa came out on top in the U10s, beating the Chukwueze Group from the same club 3-2 in the final.
In the U8s, the Gerard Group from CF Platges de Moncofa were also crowned champions, beating CD Vila d’Onda’s Chukwueze Group 4-1.
As a prize, the winners got their champions’ medal and were able to get a photograph with the Villarreal starting XI before the match against Celta Vigo.
Each matchday will see a winner for each age group, and at the end of the season, there will be a final matchday with the winners from each tournament, with the final during the half-time break of a first-team match.
