The midfielder from Madrid joins the Yellows team to bring experience to the team
Villarreal CF has reached an agreement with midfielder Pilar García to wear the Yellows shirt for the remainder of the current 2022/23 season. Pilar will be tied to Villarreal CF until 30th June 2023, with an option to extend her contract for a further season.
Experience and leadership for the Yellows
María Pilar García Villalba (21/07/1990) is a player who stands out for her tireless commitment to work, as well as having great team spirit. She will also bring balance and maturity to the Villarreal Femenino midfield.
The Madrid-born player has extensive experience in the top flight of Spanish women’s football, having competed there for 13 seasons. Her career in Spain is divided between two teams: Atlético de Madrid and Rayo Vallecano. In addition, between 2013 and 2015, she enjoyed a brief spell in England with Keynsham Town Ladies. As such, García will also bring experience to the Yellows.
