The Valencia-born player arrives at Villarreal Women to strengthen the centre of midfield
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement to sign Paula Guerrero, who will defend the colours of Villarreal Women in Primera RFEF.
Experience in the centre
Paula Guerrero Sanz (20/09/1996, Valencia) is a central midfielder with a wide range of experience, including two spells abroad. After starting out at youth level with Levante LD, she made it to the club’s first team in the 2014/15 season. She subsequently spent two and a half years playing for the women’s team at Ball State university in the United States, located in Muncie (Indiana), combining her studies in Molecular Biology. From 2018/19 until 2022/23, the Valencia-born midfielder played for Valencia CF, both for the B team and the first team.
Most recently, Guerrero enjoyed a spell in Japan, playing for Mynavi Vegalta Sendai in the Japanese Women’s Football League.
