The Yellows defender joined the Yellows’ first-team dynamic after winning a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games
Pau Torres is back. After winning a silver medal with Spain at the Tokyo Olympic Games, the defender from Vila-real rejoined the first-team dynamic with the aim of taking part in the UEFA Super Cup against Chelsea FC in Belfast (Wednesday, 9pm CEST).
The Olympian landed at Valencia Airport, where he was received in style by his family and friends as well as dozens of supporters who travelled to Manises to welcome back the footballer from Vila-real in style.
After winning the UEFA Europa League with Villarreal CF, Pau Torres joined Spain’s national team to take part in Euro 2020. Immediately after, he travelled to Japan with the national side to take part in the Olympic Games. Now, underlining his commitment to the club and without having had any holidays, he joins Unai Emery’s ranks to be present for the historic UEFA Super Cup final.
