The defender evaluated positively the team’s performance at the Wanda Metropolitano (0-0)
Yellows defender Pau Torres appeared in front of the Villarreal TV microphones to analyse the team’s good performance in the draw against Atlético Madrid (0-0): “The point shows how well we worked in a stadium that is difficult to visit and against an opponent who demand the most of you for 90 minutes. There weren’t clear chances for either team and a draw was the fairest result.”
The Yellows No.4 believes this is the path to follow to get good results: “We defended set pieces well and we were much better at getting into the opposition box, although we were perhaps impatient when it came to getting a shot away. Thanks to the work we are all doing, the team will hopefully be able to get enough points to be as high up the table as possible.”
