Villarreal CF gives Vila-real 7,308 square metres of the Fundación Dolores García to house four infrastructures for social, health care and inclusion
Villarreal CF wishes to announce that it has formalised the dontaion to the city of Vila-real of 7,308 square metres from the club’s acquisition of the Fundación Dolores García site for a value of 590,000 euros.
With this donation of the entity, the Vila-real Town Council will be able to provide the Generalitat with the land on which a complex for inclusion and social and health care will be built, which will include four new infrastructures: a new residence and day centre for people with mental disabilities, a new occupational centre, the new centre for people with brain damage in Ateneo and new modules to continue caring for the students of La Panderola Special Education Centre once they reach the age of 18.
Vila-real mayor José Benlloch publicly thanked Villarreal CF for the transfer and its commitment to his city: “I would like to thank once again Villarreal CF and its president, Fernando Roig, for their generosity and commitment to the city of Vila-real. A benchmark of our alliance with civil society and an example in giving back to society what society gives to it”.
