The coach has ended her time in charge of Villarreal Women and Jordi Ferriols takes over until the end of the season
Villarreal CF has announced that Virginia García ‘Virgy’ is leaving her position as head coach of the women’s first team. The club would like to thank her for her hard work, dedication, professionalism, commitment and warmth during her time with us and wish her the best of luck in her future career.
Jordi Ferriols will take over
Jordi Ferriols will be Virginia García’s replacement on the Villarreal Women bench. The coach, from Vila-real, will take over the Yellows in Primera Federación for the rest of the 2024/25 season.
‘Ferri’, who was currently the analyst of the women’s first team, has coached at different age groups of the girls’ teams at Villarreal CF youth academy. Ferriols was also part of the youth academy himself, playing until U16s.
