After the PCR and blood tests carried out on players, coaches and staff members in direct contact with the first team on Monday ahead of pre-season, and the carrying out of tests at the end of the week again, Villarreal CF medical services have confirmed one positive case of Covid-19. The person who tested positive is asymptomatic and has been in isolation at home following the healthcare protocol, under the control of and being monitored by the club’s medical services, LaLiga and the medical authorities.
As it has done since the first day of the pandemic, Villarreal CF will continue to follow LaLiga’s healthcare protocol to the letter, as well as the guidelines of relevant medical and sporting authorities.
