Villarreal CF underlines its satisfaction after the six points taken away from Villarreal Women were returned
Villarreal CF wants to show its satisfaction after the resolution by the Administrative Sport Court (Tribunal Administrativo del Deporte – TAD), where the Yellows’ appeal was upheld and the six points taken away by the RFEF Competition Committee last November were returned to Villarreal Women.
This favourable resolution is the first of three that we hope will overturn the unjust sanctions also imposed on Levante UD and Real Sociedad de Fútbol for “repeated and conscious non-compliance with orders, instructions, agreements or regulatory obligations” (…) in particular, concerning the “obligation to wear on the right sleeve of the shirt the patch with RFEF’s identifying anagram or of the women’s football Primera División RFEF.” In the coming days, with no doubt, both Levante and Real Sociedad will see their claims upheld and their points earned on the field of play reinstated.
After this resolution, with the six points earned on the pitch in this Primera Iberdrola season reinstated, Villarreal Women now have 23 points.
