Villarreal CF and Bea Prades Insa (16/11/1996, Onda) have reached an agreement that will see the midfielder stay with the Yellows for the upcoming season. Prades will stay under contract with Villarreal until 30th June 2023.
The footballer has spent nearly a lifetime playing for the Yellows, although her time with Villarreal CF can be divided in two stages. Prades joined the Yellows Academy aged seven, staying at the club for ten seasons. After a few years away, she returned in the 2019/20 season. The midfielder is now in her 14th season with the club.
Prades’ visión and organisational skills were key as the club was promoted to Reto Iberdrola, and then to the top flight. In the 2021/22 season, she played 20 matches, starting nine.
The midfielder becomes the 16th Villarreal Women player to confirm that they will be staying at the club for the 2022/23 season, alongside Tere Morató, Sheila Guijarro, Lara Mata, Irene Miguélez, Vera Rico, Elena de Toro, Belén Martínez, Yenifer Giménez, María Cienfuegos, Paola Soldevila, Nerea Pérez, Pancha Lara, Ainoa Campo, Estefa Lima and Carmen Carbonell.
