Villarreal CF's team with intellectual disabilities enjoyed another day in LaLiga Genuine. The Yellows team travelled to Malaga to play at La Rosaleda in the second phase of the most inclusive competition on the national scene. The Yellows picked up a win against UD Las Palmas (1-2) and suffered two defeats against Eibar (1-2) and Granada (1-3). The most important thing, however, was the unique and unforgettable experience that the players travelled to the Costa del Sol.
The competition is an eight-a-side competition, in matches of four halves of ten minutes each. However, in LaLiga Genuine it is not only the sporting results that count, but also the positive attitudes of sportsmanship shown during the matches. For this reason, the teams will receive a series of points each matchday to reward the behaviour and actions of sportsmanship and fair play of players, coaches and fans.
