Playas de Castellón athletes Pablo Torrijos and Salma Paralluelo - both part of the Endavant Esports project - shone in the first National 'Comunitat de l'Esport' meeting, which took place in Castellón de la Plana, organised by the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation.
Paralluelo, who also plays for Villarreal Women's first team, beat four national records - the senior, U23, U20 and U18 in 300m hurdles. With a time of 41.97 seconds, the Yellows player showed that she is set to be a star of the future in Spanish athletes, as she is only 16.
Torrijos won in the triple jump with 17.09m, the fourth highest score this year. The athlete became the first Spanish to jump more than 17m in outdoor events, as well as putting in the best run of his career, with three spectacular jumps: 16.96m, 17.06m and 17.07m.
