Manu Trigueros, this Sunday during the game against RCD Mallorca, reached 300 official matches for the Villarreal CF first team (201 in LaLiga, 39 in the Europa League, 36 in Segunda, 22 in the Copa del Rey and two in the Champions League). He has scored 22 goals and provided the same number of goals in assists. Trigueros came onto the pitch in the 80th minute, replacing Mario Gaspar
The footballer, who came through the youth ranks at the club, made his debut with the first team during the 2012/13 season, with the Yellows in Segunda. Since then, the talented midfielder has been representing the Yellows for the last eight seasons, becoming a key figure at the club.
The Yellows No.14 is the sixth footballer in Villarreal CF’s history to reach this impressive number in elite football, after Bruno Soriano, Marcos Senna, Mario, Rubén Gracia ‘Cani’ and Santi Cazorla.
