Chukwueze started for Nigeria while Toko Ekambi and Cameroon play against Guinea-Bissau this evening

Our young prospect Samuel Chukwueze was named in Nigeria's starting XI for their opening match of the Africa Cup of Nations, which ended up with a 1-0 win against Burundi. The next match for the Super Eagles will be on Wednesday against Guinea (Alexandria, 4:30pm CEST).

Furthermore, another Yellow, Karl Toko Ekambi, will make his debut in the competition this evening in Cameroon's match against Guinea-Bissau (Ismailia, 7pm CEST).

In the Copa América, Ramiro Funes Mori did not feature in the match against Qatar (0-2 in favour of the Albieleste), and neither did Alfonso Pedraza as Spain U21s beat Poland (5-0), a result which takes La Rojita into the European U21 Championship semi-finals against France (Thursday, 9pm CEST). Argentina, will play the quarter-finals of the Copa América against Venezuela (Friday, 9pm CEST, Maracaná).
