Villarreal CF and the English club have reached an agreement for the player from Castellón

Villarreal CF and West Ham United FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Pablo Fornals, who will play the 2019/2020 season in the English Premier League, under the orders of former Yellows coach Manuel Pellegrini. The club appreciates the player’s professionality and dedication and wishes him the best luck in the next stage of his career.

Pablo Fornals Malla (Castellón, 22/02/1996) started at ACD Benicense in Benicassim, before arriving at Villarreal, joining the U7s. He stayed at the Yellows Academy for five seasons until he moved to CD Castellón for four seasons. From there, he moved to the academy of Malaga CF, with the U19s, and made his debut for their first team at the  Santiago Bernabéu against Real Madrid on 26th September 2015. 

He returned to Villarreal CF from Malaga CF for the 2017/18 season. During these two seasons, Fornals has played 96 games in which he has scored nine goals and has provided 19 assists to his team-mates. 

Thanks to his impressive performances at the club, he has been called up to both to the Spain senior side and the U21s. In fact, Fornals is currently with Spain U21s ahead of the European Championships.
