Manu Morlanes and Miguelón have visited CEIP José Soriano in Castellón thanks to to the Club Groguet initiative 'A Star In Your School'. The first-team players, both products of the Yellows Academy, enjoyed meeting the youngsters at the school, sharing great moments and funny anecdotes about their experience as professional footballers.
Students at CEIP José Soriano decorated the classroom in Villarreal colours and gave the Yellow Submarine young footballers a geat welcome. Furthermore, youngsters at the school where able to ask what they liked to the Yellows footballers in a 'press conference' with the children acting as journalists. Finally, the young students were able to get autograph and take a group photo which will be a great souvenir of the meeting. Not only that, but the pupils also went to their sports hall to have a kickabout with Miguelón and Morlanes.
The 'A Star In Your School' initiative, within Endavant Club Groguet, is in full swing. So far this season, Daniele Bonera and Miguelón have visited CEIP Pinto Camarón in Segorbe; Sergio Asenjo has gone to Escuelas Pías in Castellón; Andrés Fernández to La Consolación in Burriana; Karl Toko Ekambi has visited La Panderola in Vila-real; and now Miguelón and Morlanes have visited CEIP José Soriano too.
Throughout the season, Yellow Submarine players will visit schools to enjoy meeting the youngsters. As well as interviewing the Villarreal stars, schools in the Castellón province can enjoy a free training session taken by Yellows youth coaches and a guided tour of the Estadio de la Cerámica.
