Villarreal CF and AC Milan have come to an agreement for the transfer of Argentinean defender Mateo Musacchio, who will play for the Italian side next season. The centre back from Rosario joined the Yellows reserves in the 2009/10 season, and from there he was moved up to the Submarine first team.
Mateo Pablo Musacchio (Rosario, 26th August 1990) joined River when he was nine years old and progressed through the ranks of the 'millonario' club until, at just 15 years old, he became the youngest player in history to make his debut in Argentina's top flight.
In the 2009/10 campaign he signed for the Villarreal CF reserves and just a year later went on to play for the first team, with whom he has played 271 matches in seven seasons. What's more, over the years he has also reopresented the Argentina national team.
