Benicarló will be the Endavant Província main feature of promotion in the match against Osasuna next Sunday (6:30pm, El Madrigal). The initiative promoted by Villarreal CF has been exhibiting different towns and cities from the Castellón province since the 2014/15 season. Now, after having made a journey through the whole province in the last two seasons and having already promoted Vinarós and Vila-real this season, against Sevilla and Real Sociedad, it’s now the turn of the ‘Baix Maestrat’ municipality.
The presentation took place at the Municipal Auditorium shortly after the football clinic coached by ex-Villarreal footballer and current member of the Institutional Relations Department, Marcos Senna, as well as several coaches from the Yellows academy.
The Endavant Benicarló presentation event was graced by the presence of Villarreal CF Vice Presdient, José Manuel Llaneza, and the Mayoress of Benicarló, Xaro Miralles Ferrando.
Another of the innovations of this season’s Endavant Província initiative is a focus on the attendance at the presentation event and the corresponding match at El Madrigal. In this way, the fans that attended the event this afternoon have received a ticket for a prize draw in which they could win an official shirt signed by the players and away trips with the First Team. The winners of the draw will receive their prizes at El Madrigal on the day of the league clash against Osasuna.
Benicarló will take advantage of the league match to exhibit their tourist, gastronomic, cultural and commercial attractions. Around the outside of the stadium tents will be set up where promotional goods will be given out and tasting sessions of typical products from the town will take place in a spectacular Fan Zone, which has already provided delights to the fans before the home games against Sevilla and Real Sociedad.
