Vinaròs will return to El Madrigal stadium as the main feature of promotion as part of the ‘Endavant Província’ iniciative, which has been promoting tourism in towns from the Castellón province since the 2014/15 season. Vinaròs, as it was in the 2014/15 season against Valencia, will be the first town to shine at El Madrigal. On this occasion it will be at the match against Sevilla next Sunday 28th August (10:15pm CET).
The presentation event was celebrated this evening at the Municipal Library in Vinaròs and was attended by Villarreal CF Vice President, José Manuel Llaneza, as well as the Mayor of the shrimping town, Enric Pla.
Shortly before the event one of the great novelties of the Endavant Província initiative for this season took place. Ex Villarreal CF player and current member of the Institutional Relations Department of the club, Marcos Senna, together with five coaches from the Yellows Academy, put on a football clinic for the young children from Vinaròs at the municipal football pitch.
Prize draw for trips for two to Malaga and a signed shirt
Another of the innovations of the Endavant Província initiative for this season is focused on the attendance to the presentation and the corresponding match at El Madrigal. In this way, fans that attend the event this evening at the Municipal Library in Vinaròs will receive a ticket to the prize draw for an official shirt signed by the players and trips for two for the next away match against Malaga at the La Rosaleda stadium (Saturday 10th September). The fan who wins the draw will also be a main character at El Madrigal the day of the league clash against Sevilla FC.
The shrimping town will take advantage of the league match to promote its tourist, gastronomic, cultural and commercial attractions. Outside the El Madrigal stadium marquees will be set up where they will give out free promotional samples and goods and do a tasting session of typical products from Vinaròs. At half time there will also be a video about the town played on the score board screen and all week the town will be featured on the Villarreal CF website. What’s more, it should be noted that the Vinaròs music band will play several pieces of music on the pitch at El Madrigal.
