The Castellón-born defender returns to Villarreal Women five years after leaving the club
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Nerea Vicente to return to the club, five seasons after her departure, to help the Yellows in Primera RFEF.
Coming back home
Nerea Vicente Fernández (01/07/2002, Castellón) returns to Villarreal CF, the club where she rose through the ranks as a youngster. Vicente left the club as a teenager for Levante B in the 2019/20 season.
The Castellon-born defender has experience in the second division of Spanish women’s football, having already played in the league for Villarreal CF, Levante UD B and Alhama CF. After securing promotion to Liga F with Alhama CF, Nerea further developed in the top-flight at Granada CF last season.
Nerea Vicente also has international experience, having featured for the Spain national team at U17 and U19 level.
